"Raíces" ("Roots") is a 2016 piece for piano. Some composition criteria used in the work are related to the twelve-tone technique and the pitch-class set theory. The name has to do with the birth of different sections of the piece (all of them sharing certain qualities), their evolution, transformation, and their subsequent interruption or disintegration.
